The King's College took its ministry to the streets of New York to tend to the spiritual needs of those searching for meaning. Under his direction, more than 2 million booklets were distributed memorializing the victims and heroes of the day and offering support to those who desired to turn to God for solace and direction. Mr. Oakes will speak of his experiences in the days following the tragedy of Sept. 11 and how to find peace in a troubled world.
